How to Transfer Account to Account?

How to Transfer Account to Account?

Hi,

We want Transfer all the information from Account valuve 2000 to 3000 with description and details.

we can transfer balnaces by creating manul journals; but we want transfer all the details, not only balances.

Please share your views.

Hi KAR

According to my knowledge, you can't transfer all details from account to other but you can keep the old account and replace the old with new.

you need to change all setup related to your old account 2000 to new account 3000 in all modules.

you make journal balance in GL to start the new balance.

Also you can create manual journals in all modules with old account and new account Ex. you can create standard invoice with debit account 2000 and the supplier account will be 3000 (after updated) then transfer this journal to GL.
