Problem 1;

Challenge: I realized that on my laptop, I had installed a number of VPNs because my work requires me to connect remotely to execute tasks on client servers.

Solution: I uninstalled/disconnected from all VPNs.

-------

Problem 2;

Challenge: I don't really know if the country originator of the credit card has an effect on the home region. During first registration, I selected Johannesburg as home region but my credit card was issued from the United Kingdom(London).

Solution: I did the right thing by selecting the home region as United Kingdom, where my credit card originated.

-----------------

Problem 3.

Challenge: I entered my address as only "Ghana". This is wrong.

Solution: When registering for oracle cloud, make sure to use the exact address you used when applying for the credit card.

Also enter the right credit card details.

No two OCI accounts will be allowed to use the same credit card. The OCI environment is very sophisticated to detect any anomalies.

------------
Also remember to ensure that your card has been enabled for International Transactions.

Another issue is that, in our tech company, our company's WiFi also has a VPN configured on the router.

Make sure to connect to a network that has no VPN configured on its router.
