Internet connection in Linux Enterprise edtion 4

I had an issue in reg to Internet connection, i had plug in wire i.e internet connection wich is provided by local guy, I had dual operating system one is Xp and another one is linux 4, internet connection is working fine with Xp, but it comes to linux it is not working, i had given ip mask, default gateway etc. also pingged Ip and default gateway it is replying, but it comes to internet connection in order toview yahoo and other sites it is not working, wat could be the problem.

Hi

Try turn off firewall settings that you might have enabled at the time of installation. Make sure you have appropriately configured your Network card driver and it's enabled.
