Creation of Multiple Branch in one bank

can you create multiple branch account in one bank?

give me some detail description about the setup oriented..............

Yeah, it can be done... as far as the account nos are not duplicating...i guess

Basically its not possible,becasue in a set we have to give the a/c no.but let me see definately i will revert back to u.

Navigation:setup>payment>bank
but the problem is that u can not find out the trasaction separetly ,if define multiple branch in one bank.all the branch should have seprate a/c.I have given u the navigation .pl just check up at your end

I think for

a) One Bank can have one Branch
b) One Branch can have many Accounts

Incase if you want to have One Bank with Multiple Branches with Multiple accounts , then at the account level you give different a/c numbers.

For EG-

These can have be created as two banks however you can have bank name same.

Bank A - Branch A [ A/c 1 - A.a , A/c 2 -A.b ]

Bank A - Branch B [ A/c 1 - B.a , A/c 2 -B.b ]

so even though they are different it would look one to you .. and may be consolidating the balance ... you can give A/c same so that net a/c balance at GL would provide net balance at the bank account

Even I feel we can create mulitple branch......
Each bank branch can have multiple accounts, and each
account you define can be associated with Payables payment documents and/or Receivables payment methods.

I tried to create the 2nd branch but I am unable to create, can u plz tell me how to create the 2nd branch in a bank.
