oracle Form6i Install to Acer leptop

I am unable to install oracle (forms 6i and reports 6i) in my system.My system is a Acer laptop Calaron 1.50 ghz 256 MB ram having windows XP Profesional Service Pack 2 ,operating system.When i try to run the setup.exe file,its saying as'"orainst.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience".I have already installed oracle 9i Enterprise =edition in my D: drive.Can any one help me in sorting out this problem.

Pl try to start setup on any other machine with this media and if same issue then software is corrupt so need to change the media.
