I had faced an interview in that they will ask about developing a report with 2 layout.

cany body tell me the procedure to develop a report with 2 layout.

Hi, i have worked on same type of requirement where the layout's should pickup as per the Parameter passed....

For ex : In One layout you need 5 columns when the parameter is 'summary' and in the other layout you need 7 columns when the parameter is 'detail'
so, you need to write a format trigger and have to pass the value of the parameter in to the Format Trigger which is to be written on the main frame's for both the layout's...

this way you can achieve the task.

This is posiible through additional layout option which is in report layout model at the left hand side tool pallete.
