Need advice from all HRMS Functional consultants

Post by oraebs11i »

Hi All,
I am an Apps Technical Consultant, recently moved to UK. I would like to become a Functional Consultant in HRMS/Payroll. I have some idea in HRMS, but not in Payroll. I am planning to learn Manual PAYE, which will give me basic UK payroll system knowledge then I will learn Oracle Payroll through user guides. Is it a good idea to learn Manual PAYE, instead of learning Oracle Payroll directly?
Please advise me.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nanda

Hi Nanda

Its a good option to understand what is PAYE and how it works in UK. There are plenty of free material available in the UK NIC website. Once you understand the concepts then you can start working on the Payroll functionality.
Where abouts in the UK r u from?
