asset item, expensed asset item and non asset item

Can any one tell me what is asset item, expensed asset item and non asset item and their setups while defining Items

Hi,

Expenses Items/Services are those which are used by employees like stationary or training take to upgrade the skills where Asset Items is the one which is used by the company like machinery or items which contributes to make another items like components of CPU, Raw Material etc. I am not to sure about the non assets items I believe items like nuts and bolts will be considered as non asset items. Please give a search on metalink 'Accounts Generator' to find how the accounts will be generate by system automatically for different types of items.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
