SO LINKING WITH JOB

Hi,

After releasing job from PWB, You have to link Sales order through the Discrete Job window (What I have found in 11i)

Find the Discrete job and click on "Sales Order " button.You need to add the corresponding sales order manually here.Also the SO should be in "Booked" Status.

Then if you query with sales order number you will get the corresponding job.

We can do that we if want the material to be resreved againt the demand..

Incase if the item is make type then the workflow also triggers a background request which creates Job which is already linked to the Sales Order.

But once the Job is complete the link between the Sales Order and the Job is broken.
