End date or Disabe the account combinations?

End date or Disabe the account combinations?

All,

What is the difference between disabling and end dating the account combinations? which one is recommended and what is the reason.

Hi Muzaffar

I think you can use disabe option when you want to disable the account combinations now but the end date option can be use for future time (like end of period).

Yes I understand; but are there any consequences of disabling the account combination in reporting/inquiry of those account combination balances or in anything.

Hi Muzaffar

From my small Exp., I don't think there is no any consequences of disabling the account combination in reporting/inquiry because the account combination record in all tables by code combination ID & once you make any transaction with account combination & make it disable or use end date option it still have combination ID & it saved in tables.

So any inquiry or request will retrive the data which include the combination ID & it will appears.
