Scale rate and Grade scale for fixed Salary

Hi All,

I have set up scale rate & grade scale for a client that pays staff a fixed amount per grade - step. However, they require a breakdown of their salaries (into the various pay elements e.g basic, transport, housing etc) in the payslip.

How do i go about this? I'm thinking of creating the various pay elements, defining payroll and linking the elements. But my concern is how this will work since fixed rates have been defined for the total salary.

Hi,

suppose for an employee with grade G1 total salary is 1000$

now suppose three elements are there
basic salary 600$
HRA 300$
Misclenneous 100$

Now basic salary must be having some calc rule on base of total salary
suppose basic salary = 60% of total salary
HRA = 50% of basic salary
Miscelleneous = 10% total salary

so you have to design your element in this way attaching fast formula with it ...i replied assuming this as the requirement ...if it is fifferent let me know
