ECO interface between Agile and Ebiz

I have to develop an interface which will fetch the data from Agile and insert into apps.Please anyone of you previously have developed this sort of interface ..can help me by providing the code.

Iam working on R12 implementation .

Our client is implementing AP,AR,GL,PO,INV,OM,ASCP modules

They have asked me to develop Agile to Apps inbound interface.. for ITEM and BOM wtih ECO.

APPS version is R12 12.0.4

The Scenario is as follows:

1. In Agile when the lifecycle phase of an ITEM or BOM reaches to released state , data would be fetched from Agile and inserted into
APPS staging table and necessary validations are performed and open interface program would be submitted automatically and an acknoledgment would be sent to Agile i.e., A custom attribute flag is updated to "Success" based on the successful insertion into APPS from the necessary interface tables.

1.1. Items and BOMs would be created in AGile only.
and they have to be interface into APPS along with revisions.


2.We have planned to achieve this by JDBC process extensions. which includes some java classes.

3.I have developed ITEM and BOM INterface code.

4. Problem is with the ECO. I have found that We have Both ECO Open interface program and API are available for this ECO's in ORacle.

5.Please suggest me whether to go ahead with API or ECO open interface program.
