Doubt in People Group ..

Dear Friends,

I had a doubt in Peopl Group, What is the Impact when People Group is used in Payroll,and What is the Impact when People Group is not used in Payroll .. Can any one Pls let me know about this ASAP ..

Hi

You can use the People Group in many ways depends on your requirement. By Definition it will have used for the unions or pension groups of any company or enterprise and other meaning you can use the people group for categorization of employee that is it permanent contractual or probationary. this is the payroll key flex field.

If in your implementation there is no need to categories or grouping the people or employee you will not enable this Key flex field you define the structure of the key flex field and take only segment and remove the check from displayed and enabled freeze the flex field and compile it then attach only the structure on the business group initially you will do this for creating the business group.

I think it is clear to you impact on payroll it depends you will create the links in the payroll with respect to the People group you have two types of employees
1. Permanent
2. Contractual or Probationary
Both are on payroll, Probationary Employee are not giving the Provident Fund but the Permanent Employee are give the Provident Fund then you can use this Flex Field segment values in the fast formula

Also, if you use the people group KFF, and generate the orresponding database items, you can make use of these items to categroize employee compensations and benefits in Fast Formulas.
