Master Item Code and Description

Dears Hi

We are using Oracle EBS R12. I have following questions.

1. I want to auto generate the Master Item Code <System Item> and also make it un updateable

2. Is there a way to have LOV for the descriptive elements in item Catalog window

3. How can we have the items searching possible on PR screen throuhg Item Catalog. like on PR screen we dont want text based search but Attribute base search, the way item is defined in on Catalog.

4. Is there a way to identify on which screens within application Field is placed. For e.g I want to know on which screens i would find Item Description and Item Code , in case i require some customization.

5. Also Item Master created under one OU could be visible in Inventory organizations of other OU, under one ledger
