how to use Oracle Manufacturing in Electrical Area

Hi every body,

I want to use Oracle manufacturing in electrical manufactor. But it different, because we don't manufact the electric in a batch,.... only produce it and then import it to the national electric net. Should we use this mudule for us?

Hi,

Actually Electrical Power is generated and consumed through or other distribution system. It has no Physical inventory existance.
Production is a contineous process.

So to record the production, you can create a batch (OPM) for the previous day (24 hrs or as per requirement) production (you will get from energy meters from electrical control room). After completion of batch you have to issue the total production to the customer (say grid owner) as you can not maintain stock of it.
