Close a PO after a specified time

Hi,

I have the following demand:

All standard purchasing orders and releases must be automatically closed after 6 months from promised date. Can I do it via setup or do I need to make a customization?

Hi,

Presently there is no option for automatic closing of PO after certain time. Manually You have to close it.

Or If are using invoicing with PO Match option, then during invoicing you can manually close the PO by checking the Box "Final close" in invoice screen. But in case of Open PO you have to close through PO screen manually.

You may try for customization but i am not sure about it.

I think one possible solution is to build a concurrent that runs periodically (probably daily) and checks all POs, if the PO is overdue then it is closed automatically.
