Not able to save item master item?

Dear

we are using oracle 11i

in inventory we are not able to add a item in the master item...and in turn its nt showing any error or any response to that action..

any guidance to this post is very helpfull

could you please tell the navigation and the path and check the item flexfield

Turn on tracing from diagnostic menu and also let us know the behavior of other forms. What happens when you press save button. Also check from any other client as may be some issue with jinitiator. tks

the navigation is responsibility inventory<item<master item

and check the the item flexifield through setup<financials<flexifield<keys<segments

nothing has been given.....pls correct me if iam wrong...

dear

i turn on tracing normal mode....and try to add the item....and again same thing is happening...there is no respons from other forms....while adding the the cursor just moving for a while and in turn no respons,

Can you please set the profile "INV: Default Item Status--Active"

and check the issue?

Login/Logout after profile set.

and if still not resolved then check if any object is not invalid (packages) and also try to recompile the form. thanks
