How to enter "outside Oracle emp hours" in PA?

Post by dvsprao108 »

Hi Friends,

I have an issue that "need to enter outside Oracle employee (who has not entered as employee in HRMS, but working as temporary only) labor hours in PA" (11.5.10.2) for a particular Project.

Thanks in advance

Hi

You can maintain Contingent worker in Oracle Hrms and then using Oracle Time and labor you can record labor hours of the contingent worker and import to oracle projects.

In the implementation options screen you can select the check box to Import Contingent worker timecards with PO integration and also select the interface contingent worker labor costs to general ledger.

Regards
KIMKhan.

Hi KIMKhan,

In order to test the contingent worker labor hours entry, there is no options available as " Import contingent worker timecards with purchase order integration" and "interface contingent worker labor costs to GL" in "Implementation Options" window.

So, what shall i do for this?

Please advice.
Thanks,
Prakash

See for ur problem Navigation will be

for standard oracle
PA Impl super user -> set up-> system ->impl option ->exp/costing

here 2 things ( checkboxes )
1. Import Contigent Worker timecards with PO integration
2. Interface Contigent worker labor costs

Now bit sharing abt CW : a concept in HRMS for all outside company employee resources .

Create Contingent Worker in HRMS People screen.
Now for Project Costing of resource utilization , U can use Standard Oracle Time & Labor -> Move to PA -> and then to GL/Use some Customisation T & A module and pass the entries to PA Exp batches / and then process it to GL .

Pls feel free if u need more help
