Issue in OTL

Hi,
I had an custom concurrent program which pulls the timecard information from the previous timecards(say it pulls the information like project name,task and expenditure) when we try to fill the next timecard info to save time and eficiency.
Now the custom requirement is to pull the project name from the old timecard but the task and expenditure should be pulled from the employeee's assignments record,if there is no records from the assignment then use the last time sheet periods values as default.
Any ideas or suggestions,can u pls let me know.If you need any further information pls let me know.
