employee/supervisor relationship

i heared that there are two ways to make approval hierarchy
one is already used in our company that names position hierarchy
the second way bear the name of employee/supervisor approval
i will be appreciate for anyone tells more details about employee/supervisor relationship

Hi FATHY

when you assignment the position, job to the employee, there are a field for supervisor name you can enter the supervisor name.

This link like the hierarchy but when you use this relation, the approval hierarchy will not used so when the employee create PO, it will be go to his supervisor directly & go to the other supervisor until the final approval.
