Can any of you highlight the significance of Legislative code purpose with respect to a Legal entity?

Dear Priya ,

are you speaking about the legislation code which we will be specifying upon creating the Business Group? In which case the legislation code field is an LOV capturing the country information ....Beyond that i am not sure as to its impact with respect to Legal Entity. Legislation code would direct or hint us as to what localization is to be implemented on the instance.
However if you can go through / get in contact with payroll consultant, one can find out its relevance.
The relevant documentations which you can go through is:
Oracle Financials Implementation Guide - It talks about the Legal Entity Configurator
Oracle Etrms - Search for legislation code, you get many hits related to payroll schema
Is there any specific requirement you have in hand, would be pleased to know the same ?
