Purchase Distributions

Hi,

Normally in what scenarios, one puchase shipments having more than one distributions? could you please provide some examples.

Dear Venkatesh,

The goods/items procuring for particular ship to location may be for different departments or it may be different other segments under chart of account segments like locations, building etc.

But for the inventory items, we cannot update the PO charge account. Then it multiple distributions used for only expense items only?

Hi Venkatesh

What I know is that if the item expense, you can use multi distributions for the same line shipment because you can distribute the expense item on multi charge account & the system able to select the charge account in case of expense item but the inventory item the shipment = distribution.
