Fixed Assets Accounting entries

Can any one please explain Fixed Assets Accounting entries and from where accounts are picking?.

Fixed Assets entries are derived from Asset Categories. In Asset categories, need to define asset cost, clearing, depreciation, accumulated depreciation etc for each category.
