Balancing Segment values atleval entity level

Hi,

Can you pleas let us know any one that

Why do you need to assign Balancing segment Vlaues at Legal entity level?

Wy do you need to Assig balancing segment values at Ledger level?

None of the values assigned at both levels?

Could you please let us know what is the diffrence in casses?

The use of Balancing segment is that Oracle will keep all your transactions Debit and Credit balanced at that level means generating trial balance. tks

Means what will happen if assighe the balancing segment at leder level and LE level?

I 'd like to know the diff?
