Hi Rao,
While doing implemention check list is nothing but what are your deliverables .
if you are functional consultant .your deliverables will be.
RD10 or R20 : Business process questioneer based on that we will prepare AS IS
BP 40 ( AS IS )
BP 80 ( TO BE )
TE 40 (Test Scripts )
BR 100 Setup document.
MD 50 Functional design document.
Roll out is nothing but .
If the business is expanded across the country .EG:firstly we will implement in india.
if we have to implement rest of the other countries like APAC,europe ,Middle east then we will call them as roll out.
Regards

1. Generally implementation checklist is prepared for the Go-Live phase.
2. I am not sure the validation you are refering to.
3. For several reasons, the implementation is first done at few sites/countries initially and then the same process is repeated in other sites/countries. This is called roll out.
Cheers,

Hi
In R12 you have diagnostic scripts available for each module which comes as a standard functionality in Oracle E-Business Suite
You can run the script for every module as set up script like AP, AR, GL etc., If your UAT sign off has been obtained and no further set up changes are required after end user training, You can run those scripts and keep a back up. After doing Production set up, Run the diagnostic set up script for the modules you are implementing and compare it with UAT instance and if anything is missing, You can performs the same in Production instance also
Otherwise there is a third party Product called Configsnapshot is available which can compare the set up between two instances and give you an output. You can make necessary changes to the set up based on that also
Hope this helps
