Order Reservations

Hi OM Gurus,

Me again, in version 11.5.10.2 I want to reserve a specific quantity for customer A, prior to releasing the order to the whse. Then I create an order for customer B for the same item and same quantity and release the order. What I want to happen is the customer B will not get any of customer A inventory. Is this possible....

IF IM NOT WRONG u can manually do reservations on sales order lines before booking the SO.

right click on line -->schedule-->reserve

so if item is reserved for customer A the it ll be in reserved status and cant be picked by customer B

Hi,

You can reserve item for a particular customer and this cannot be utilized by other customer.

From tools menu , click on schedule> reserve and you can reserve inventory item for Customer A.
Once item is reserved for Customer A, In Item reservation form, you can view this reservation to confirm.

Items for Customer B wont be reserved from the same lot.
