Automatic item numbering in inventory

Is there any way to set auto creation of item number in inventory?

Hi Raja [:)],

As far as I know there is no standard functionality in Inventory by which you an set auto creation of <font color="red"><b>Item Number </b></font id="red"> in Inventory.

But you can acheive this by <font color="red"><b>Customizing</b></font id="red"> the form or with <font color="red"><b>Forms Personalization</b>.</font id="red">

Yes you can do it with PIM (Product Information Management) wich is a PLM product of Oracle. It is a sperate license.
