Hi,

While creating a Sales Order i am getting an error " Online discounting is not allowed, zero or no list price"
I know for this i have to add itme to the price list, but for my project requirement i do not need nay price list there for i have removed it from Customer, Transaction type and defaulting rules. I want to add a price according to my requirement without getting it fetched from the price list... Please help me regarding this

You have to define one price list with ALL_ITEM lines. Then a manual modifier needs to be defined and assign it to the same OU or user through qualifiers.

Set following profile options for the user or responsibility.
OM: DISCOUNTING PRIVILIGES to unlimited.
Remove enforce price list check box from order type.
It will allow you to enter any price in unit selling price feild on order form.


Second simple way is to open List price feild on order form. For that you have to set following profile option.
OM: LIST PRICE OVERRIDE to YES.
It will allow user to eneter anything in list price field on sales order but you have to show list price field on order lines through folder option.

You can use any of two methods which ever suits you.
