Hope I didn't put this in the wrong forum.

I'm having trouble with my TOAD. I'm trying to access my oracle E-business suite database which located in Server A and Server B. I could connect to Server A but couldn't to Server B. Every time I tried to connect to Server B I always get this error message :

TNS: packet reader failure.

I'd tried to search in the web how to solve it but still no success. Anyone can help? Thanks.

can you tnsping to both server databases? if no check your local tnsnames.ora has the entry for both databases. TOAD is using local tnsnames. you can copy tnsnames.ora from other server where both databases are accessible.
