Help in territory setup

Post by ahmedgalal007@hotmail.com »

HI,
When I'm trying to create territory or create territory type,
The ?usage textbox? is empty in the territory administration page.

How can I add that usages?
In the territory implementation guide, said there is seeded usage type, but it doesn?t appear in that textbox.

Also when I?m trying to ?enable matching attribute? the page not open and give an error that I must refer to my administrator.
Please somebody help,
Thanks.

Hi Admin,

I have already done that setup of territory, but, I?m talking about another problem that when I?m trying to create a territory type the USAGE field is empty there is no choices in it, like in the VISION Instance.

The question is, How can I define that USAGES ?
In vision demo it?s (Trade Management, Sales,..... )

Also when I?m trying to <u><b>?Enable Matching Attribute?</b></u> the page not open and give an error that I must contact my administrator.

Thanks.

Pl check the following,

User can follow the below steps to add optional matching attributes :

Navigation -> Responsibility : Application Developer/System Administrator
Flexifield -> Descriptive -> Register -> Query for Application "Release Management" and Title "Additional Industry Attributes".
1. Uncheck the 'Protected' check box. Flexfield -> Descriptive -> Segments -> Query for Application "Release Management" and Title "Additional Industry Attributes".
2. Uncheck the 'Freeze Flexfield Definition' check box.(Click 'OK' when pop up window appears)
3. Select 'RLM' record in 'Context Field Values' detailed block.
4. Click 'Segments' Push button.
5. Add a record in this window by selecting column value from the LOV.
6. Save the record.(Click 'OK' when pop up window appears)
7. Close the window(Segments Summary).
8. Now check the 'Freeze Flexfield Definition' check box.(Click 'OK' when pop up window appears)
9. Click 'Compile' Push button.

I'm tried the steps to modify & compile the "Additional Industry Attributes" flexfield , but nothing happened.

Also there is no lookup missing , I have checked it out.

It Works,

It?s appeared now , the problem was that I must define some role to my user account I found the description in the ?territory implementation guide?
The problem now is when I?m trying to create a territory, it gives me that error Message ?Please define a template before creating a territory for ?..?

Where can I define that template?

Thanks,
