Go and search in application developer.

There we have to enable the journal category
Navigation is

Profile (Press Enter)

Quarry and compile it.

It?s the right solution.

Hi Anjan,

Please do to Application Developer
Query the Profile as GL_DEFAULT_JE_CATEGORY and provide the Security Levels like User Access, Program Access and Hierarchy Type Access Levels.

Please let me know the Status.

Thanks,
Mahesh

You can create n number of journal categories as per your requirement and while entering the Journal you should get the list of the values of all the journal categories. You are not talking about the Journal sources ?
look at the Journal category table and compare the seeded journal categories and one you have created and look for any fields which are not populated . This may be one reason .Upload the screen shot with the error .
