Request completes normal, but the o/p is not a pdf

Hi,
Need help.
I customized a standard XMLP report.
Made the required changes in the layout and registered in Apps.
When I submit the report, it completes with normal status.
But the output is in XML tags, not in pdf format.

I checked it and everything fine.
It does not even show any errors in log file.

Can you check in request details whether template is getting attached or not. and from where you are submitting requests is it from SRS screen or different if you can let me know that may be i can help

Go in as the 'System Admimistration' responsibility and query the concurrent program, click on the on-site settings tab and check the tempate is attached to the concurrent program.
If it's not then you need to ensure that the template/ data defintion and program short code all have the same short name.

Try this,
Before submitting the report, go to option and change the template format from pdf to excel.

Hi ,
I think there is no template registred for the data defination.
Check the is there template or not ? check is there data defination ..?
If above all is ok then..Check for options menu what is the output format for the CP while submitting.
