Help!!

In one of our orgs, we calculate tax at the line level, however in distribution, once we click the calculate tax button, we cannot uncheck the Recoverable Tax check box on the Tax line. When we try to uncheck we get an FRM error, which says that the field is protected against update.

If the Tax line is populated manually, we can check and uncheck the box.

Pls help, as we need to be able to calculate tax and uncheck the tax lines that are non recoverable. Thanks

Try to change the recoverable %. For non recoverabletax make % recoverable as 0 and % non recoverable as 100%.

If you are using R12, you can also use tax rules to set recoverable % automatically, depending on your requirement.

Send the scenarios in which you are required to make tax as non recoverable. I may be able to suggest you how to setup the rules.
