AR:Trans status-closed but has outstanding balance

Hi

There is an outstanding balance in a transaction but when i try to enter a receipt against that transaction i am not getting that particular transaction number in LOV of apply window.
This is because the transaction status is closed though it has a balance.
thats the reason we are not able to select the transaction as in apply lov we get only open transactions.
I do know why it got closed
Can anyone help me out

Hi,

There might be an credit memo is attached to this transaction.
Check this way:

Open Transaction and In Actions Button select Installments.
It shows whether any credit memo or receipt already attached.

check and lets know.
