Hi Friends,

I am very new to the BOM and CRM applications, now my client have implementing Oracle Quoting Version 11i 10.2/DEV Instance /OS-SUN . Now I want to know how to create the kitting functionality in BOM then how to use those kit items in Quoting module ? Can any one help please

Existing Modules : INV, BOM, WIP, OM etc..

Hi Ash,

Kitting is nothing but your BOM creation.
We can understand the BOM with a laptop example:-
As Laptop is a BOM and all the componet by which this Laptop(BOM) consist of are it's component like (hard drive, mouse, keyboard etc..)
Now each of component itself will be created as a BOM like hard drive and it's componet will be by which this comsist of.

Now each of this BOM can be used for the quotation.
