Dear Majid,

Enhanced (Advanced) Retropay facilitated the way retropay is done. You do not need to create assignment set manually as before (as in the Retropay by Element). The system creates one automatically.
Also, for the Enhanced Retropay, performance is optimized because you do not need to specify a Starting Date to start looking for the changed entries that need to be captured in retropay (as in the Retropay by Element); instead, the system will consider the changes for each assignment starting from the date of change for each assignment.

I hope this helps,

In Global Legislation (Pakistan) Oracle does not support retro pay enhanced.

Retro Pay Enhanced: Identify the reasons for backdated changes to individual elements, Reprocess an assignment from the exact point at which a change occurred rather than reprocessing the entire pay period because it contains a backdated change.

Retro Pay by Element: Enables you to identify the value of backdated changes for individual elements

for setups

You have to create separate elements (Retroactive Element) for Retro pay enhanced

u dont have to create separate retroactive elements. For more clarification u can read the "Payroll Processing Management Guide for 12" you can get it from different Oracle sites and Metalink.
