balancing segment

What is balancing segment in COA & what is pupose

Hello.

The balancing segment is tipically the Company segment. It insures that the journals must balance (debit = credit) when summed by this segment.

Hi,

Balancing segment is a mandatory segment in Chart of accounts. Generally we will define Company is as balancing segment(Most probably). With the help of balancing segment only we can generate the financial statements,that's why Balancing segment is playing very key role in COA.

Balanceing segment is always try to balance the debit=credit and it mostly company segment
