EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES:
*7+ years experience administering large Unix systems, recent AIX experience preferred
*Experienced in LAN/WAN systems design, implementation, management, and support
*PERL and Unix Shell scripting
*Security skills a plus
*TCP/IP (including DNS & ICMP), LDAP, Windows Server & Desktop, DB2 systems support
*EMC SAN technology
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
*4 year degree or related OR equivalent work experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, maintenance and tuning of hardware and software systems. Duties include systems management and hardware/OS operations across the entire enterprise. Specific duties include:
* Backups
* Policy enforcement
* System level maintenance, moves, adds, changes, and troubleshooting on all IT infrastructure hardware and software
* Administration and support of EMC SAN technologies
