AR & GL Difference

Post by elakkia1980in »

Dear All,

Every month we are getting the difference in AR & GL. We have raised an SR with the Oracle and they have given the
pay.sql script to run. Based on the script we are giving the input parameters as

Org Id:
From Date:
To Data:

Once we get the output script from the DBA we just check the output of the Pay.sql and we are able to identify the trasactions which have difference.
How can we avoid these difference. Guide us to get the solution.

Every month we are getting this how to rectify this in future month. I mean without running the pay.sql both the AR & GL should get tiedup.

Kindly suggest how to solve this.
Mail me: elakkia1980in@yahoo.co.in

Thank you in advance,

Regards,
Elakkia.

The cause of the issue could be due to operational factors and not system performance ...
From the outputs of the SQL script provided by oracle support, you have picked up transactions which are causing the reconciliation difference.
Perform the analysis on those transactions and find out how they are different from others transactions .....
There could be many reasons (Transactions not getting transferred in the relevant period, transactions swept, accounting errors ....etc ...)
Once you can find the trend as to how it happens ... then you can draft measures and restrictions for the same to not happen again .... ..
If there is nothing wrong in the procedure, and its only the system that is causing issues ..... please share few information on the transactions that are picked up by the SQL script ....
