What is the subaccout segment?

Hi All,

Some compnies has the subaccout as one of the Segment in thair chart of accout.

Pls let me know what is the subaccount and what is the use of that?

Hi Srinivas

The sub-account segment is a second level for main account. some companies use this level to make full control of their segment.

For example, the main account value is Media expenses, the second level (sub-account) can be Newspaper, Magazines, internet, ...etc.

When you use sub-account, it make the sub-account LOV display according to main account.
