AME & Workflow

Can anybody help me regarding AME configuration with workflow.
I have configured built in transaction type (Payables Invoice Approval) but there are no notifications going to approvers. Also in Workflow WF_deferred agent listener is down. I have added approver type FND users. But when i enter invoice it runs well in real transaction test but its not working to show/send notifications to FND approvers. Please Help
