How Can i Change Item Code to an item

hello all
my issue is
i define an item and assigned it to two inventory organization then i need now to change item code in one inventory organization without change code in another inventory organization can any one helpe me in my issue thanx alot

One Item cannot have 2 Item Codes [8D]

I said "One Item <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'><b>cannot </b></span id='hl'>have 2 Item Codes".

HI,

ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE ITEM ACROSS THE INVENTORY ORGS.

BETTER TO CREATE A SEPRATE THE ITEM CODE .

Dear Rafique,
Items are always defined in IMO (Item Master Organization) and then assigned to different IO's (Inventory Organizations) so in your case you have created one item in IMO and assigned it to two IO's, now if you want to change the item code for one IO then you have to first define its new code in IMO and then assign it to your concerned IO.
