upload lagacy assets

Hi
this month we'll start manage our assets using Oracle FA
but first we need to upload all existing assets from the old system
the number of assets is above 200 000 assets, so if we'll use ADI,or WEB ADI we need at least 3 months to upload these assets .we'll use SQL loader .can any one help or tell me how to use SQL LOADER to load these assets and wich table should i use.

Who told it will take months using web adi.

If the data is correct it hardly takes one day

Even using SQL loader initial data should be correct right?

As Shanmukh said, if you initial data is correct you can use WEB ADI to load it.

Hello.

I see you problem. So what you need is some help on writing the sqlloader ctl file, right? If you give me the column names and types of the FA_MASS_ADDITIONS interface table you want to update perhaps i can help you on writing the sqlloader script.

Hi,

I can see that All the columns used can be uploaded throught Web ADI.

You have to change the lay out and try again.

If columns are not available then u have to go for sql loader
