the client has business in Australia and in USA. IN Australia he has operatins in 2 states. IN USA he has operations in 2 states. The chart of Accounts and Calendar are same and obviously the currency is differ. In this case How the Multi org structure will be?

1. You can ask the client itself for legal entities. How many registered legal entities do they have? If they are operating from two states, I think they should have two legal entities (not sure).
2. You can have two SOBs as there are only two functional currencies are involved.
3. Regarding OU, it depends on the requirment, mainly security related. You can have more than one OU within the state (for ex, two kinds of operations/products and they want to maintain seperate process for each operation)

We can not just leave the client requirements. All the decisions are based on the client requirement.Leave the client requirements. pls tell me can i go like this

You can use this structure according to your business need:
1) one business group
2) Each country become ledger
3) Each state can be operation unit (under the legal entity)
4) Under operation unit use inventory org. or more.
This structure can be more or less according to your business need so you first need to make the good analysis to know your company structure.

1.How many Legal entities here we require?
the client has operations in 2 states in Australia , and he has operations in 2 state in us.we define legal entity for Fiscal and tax purpose. so in our case let us take taxes are diff in the 2 states.
so In Australia I will go for 2 legal entities.
and 2 legal entities in US.

here i will go for 2 sob . one is for Aus. another one is for US.
In Aus we have 2 legal entities . so i will assign the Aus sob to the 2 legal entities.
in us we have 2 legal entities. so i will assign the us sob to the 2 legal entities

here in aus he has operations in 2 states and in US he has operations in 2 states so i will go for
2 operating units in AUS and
2 operating units in US
4. how many inv org we require ?
in each operating unit in each country i will define 1 inv org
