pls brief me on Multi-org setup profile options

Hi,

Can any one breif me on Multi-org setup profile options ( i guess some 5 profile options to be set ) or suggest a guide to this.

HR security profile
HR Business Group
GL Set of books
MO Security Profile
MO Operating Unit
