Advanced Global Intercompany
Oracle Advanced Global Intercompany System can create invoices in payables and receivables sub ledger from intercompany transactions.

Using Oracle Advanced Global Intercompany System user can enter transactions for multiple recipients within a single batch. This allows user to submit intercompany transactions from one initiator to one or more recipients in a single batch.

Global Consolidation
The Global Consolidation now facilitates users to consolidate data from remote subsidiary ledger database instances to a central consolidation database instance

Hi,

Global Consolidation

Global Consolidation System (GCS) is used to consolidate multiple companies whose accounting information is maintained in multiple sets of books. If your sets of books reside in multiple Applications instances, you must maintain dummy sets of books for those subsidiaries whose sets of books are located external to the Applications instance where you plan to perform your consolidation activities. If you maintain your parent and all of its subsidiaries within one set of books and you do not have average balance processing enabled, you do not need to use the GCS to view and report on your consolidated financial information.

The consolidation process includes eight steps
. Define Consolidation Charts of Accounts:
2. Map Consolidation Data:
3. Prepare Consolidation Data:
4. Transfer Consolidation Data:
5. Post Consolidation Data:
6. Create Eliminating Entries:
7. Report on Consolidated Balances:
8. Analyze Consolidated Data:

Global Intercompany System

Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) enables you to create, settle and reconcile intercompany transactions. Intercompany transactions are transactions that occur between two related legal entities in an enterprise or between groups in the same legal entity. Transactions that occur between two legal entities are called intercompany transactions and transactions that ooccur between two groups within one legal entity are called intracompany transactions.

Hope the above information will help you.
