from my experieance in project management and HRMS implementation, this is the step wil help you to management the project in time in cost in scope.
1) Clear project vision. Include the following
a. Scope management plan.
b. Communication management plan.
c. Quality management plan.
d. Resource management plan.
e. Risk management plan.
f. Project schedule plan.
g. Procurement plan
2) The project sponsor?s support.
3) Management communication and involvement.
4) Clear business procedures and polices.
5) Joint team effort.
6) Dedicated and qualified project team.
7) Commitment to accept best practices.
Using a proven implementation methodology.
9) Care about legacy system from first step in the implementation if it is there.
