In Oracle Applications 11i, I am looking for a way to set up something akin to an "item kit" under a single item number. What we need is a way to set up a single item number that when placed on an order would automatically split into multiple items for the pick ticket and invoice.

Example. Item 334 would represent a "kit" consisting of item 338, 340, and 456. Item 334 would have it's own entry int the price lists. When item 334 was placed on an order, it would automatically be split into 338, 340, and 456 for invoicing and picking purposes.

Is there any way to do this in Oracle Apps 11i?
