Purchasing & Inventor journal $ value discrepency

Hi Dear all,

please help me... i need a help.. oracle also not given answer till now.. waiting for month end closing...

We have DEC-08 month end closing values for Inventory & Purchasing are not matching.. i refered back all the previous months nov-08, oct-08 etc... all months inventory & purchaing entries in GL are matching... but only DEC-08 Gl enteries for INventory & Purchasing not matching.... please help me ..in this issue.. it will be very greatful of you all
