Filesystem size (Solaris 10) for Oracle Apps R12

Hi,

I have Sun M5000 and Sun V445 which I will be using for Apps DB and Apps Application server respectively. Can anyone advice/suggest appropriate (root/var/swap) filesystem sizes.

Follow the below guide lines and change according to your physical resources and follow the Note#402312.1 for packages detail.

/ --- 10GB
swap -- 2 times the ram size
/var -- 4GB
/usr -- 10GB
/opt -- 4GB
/home --5GB
/tmp -- 5GB
/u01 -- 300GB
/archive -100GB
/backup -- 100GB
